Valley of Burlington Study Hall Night posted on 02-19-2016 10:23:00
On February 18th the Valley of Burlington sponsored a Masonic Study Hall for members of the Craft. This was for incoming candidates and existing members that wanted to discuss in depth the symbolism of Freemasonry. This was open to all Masonic members and focused on tutoring and mentoring our Masonic new comers. This was a very interesting evening where members really dug down into our symbolism. The Rite is very fortunate to have proven class room teachers taking up the instruction of our Craft. Hopefully there will be more of these nights planned.

COD Winter Workshop posted on 02-19-2016 10:21:00
On February 14th the leadership of four Valleys spent a morning at the Council of Deliberation Winter workshop in Bethel, Vermont. This was a well attended event. It was a time for committees to get some face time. Some of the things that were discussed were the annual meeting in June ,building better leadership throughout Freemasonry and an investment in our members and what form that should take. There were also many lively discussions about things that we could do differently in Vermont to attract new members to our organization. The mornings discussion was concluded with some inspiring words from our Most Worshipful Grand Master of Vermont George Deblon and our Deputy for Scottish Rite in Vermont Don Duquette. The day concluded with a meal at a local pizzeria.

On February 13 there was a Festive Board for couples in Central Vermont .This was an elegant dinner. As usual it was prepared by Rick and Holiday Rayfield. Couples ate and drank the finest food and wines as they were serenaded by the Barre Tones, a local musical group. Every year this event seems to get better. Thanks to all that worked to make this event a success
